Lea Wiggins - Musical Director

Leander Wiggins started his musical upbringing as a chorister in his local church. He also took up the Trumpet and in 1978 joined the British Army, enlisting as a bandsman with the Light Infantry. On amalgamation with The Royal Green Jackets in 1994, he joined the Light Division Band. He toured in Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, USA, West Germany, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina and the Gulf.

After retirement in 2001, he joined the Norwich City Concert Band in 2007 on Alto Saxophone and became Musical Director in 2019. His other musical interests include playing Baritone Saxophone in local Norwich Big Bands and a Saxophone Quartet.
